Introduction
Welcome to Hordeling ("we," "our," or "us"). Hordeling is a single-player arcade survival game. This Privacy Policy explains what the game does and does not collect.
The short version: the game itself keeps nothing about you on our servers. The only data that leaves your device is what Google's advertising SDK collects in order to serve ads, and what Apple processes when you make a purchase.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
None. Hordeling has no account, no login, and no text entry. There is nothing to sign up for.
Stored On Your Device
- Game Progress: Coins, permanent upgrades, your best time and level, and your local high-score table are saved in a file on your device. This file never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.
- Settings: Sound on/off, chosen language, and whether you own the Supporter Pack.
Collected By Third Parties
- Advertising (Google AdMob): The free version displays ads. Google's advertising SDK may collect device identifiers, coarse location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data in order to serve and measure ads. This happens inside Google's SDK; we do not receive or store this data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Purchases (Apple): The Supporter Pack is processed by the App Store. We never see your payment details — the app only receives a yes/no answer about whether the purchase is valid.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not ask for or access your camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, or calendar.
- We do not request location permission. (Ad networks may infer approximate location from your IP address, as described above.)
- We operate no servers for this game and receive no analytics from it.
- We do not know who you are.
How Information Is Used
- Your save file exists so your progress and high scores survive between sessions.
- Ad data is used by Google to select and measure the ads shown to you.
- Purchase verification is used to remove ads and grant Supporter Pack benefits.
Your Choices
- Personalized ads: You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking, and reset your advertising identifier there.
- Remove ads entirely: The optional Supporter Pack removes all advertising from the game.
- Delete your data: Deleting the app removes the save file and every setting. There is nothing left on our side to delete.
Data Security
Game data is stored in the app's private container, protected by iOS file protection. Because we hold no copy of it, there is no server-side store of your data to breach.
Children's Privacy
Hordeling contains stylized cartoon combat and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game displays advertising; parents who prefer an ad-free experience can purchase the Supporter Pack.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
